Bio
I’m a summa cum laude graduate of the College of William & Mary, where I earned a B.A. in English Language & Literature with a minor in Africana Studies. I specialize in editing, research, and journalistic writing. My experience includes providing editorial support for a book manuscript and regularly reviewing academic essays, helping students with grammar, style, and tone in their writing. I’ve also produced multiple reported stories through coursework designed to mirror professional journalism. I completed a capstone project examining the influence of Marcus Garvey as well as research and analysis papers for varied subjects in both English Literature and Africana Studies courses. I’m detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to contribute to editorial and newsroom environments where I can apply my skills in a professional environment. I am committed to supporting high-quality writing and storytelling while continuing to grow as a writer and editor.
